Smart city enablement is provided
with IT products and services which need to employ technologies from where the
infrastructure can be improved. In India the smart city projects have been
taken up with much fanfare and Bhubaneswar has become the number one in smart
cities which are twenty.
The city has focused
with public transport to all of 1 million residents in next 4 years or so with
smart traffic management
for roads and streets unclogging. Union Urban development minister Venkaih
Naidu has said that as the city tops smart city list with 78.83 marks from 100,
there is more reliable and quick transport in city evidently. This comes from
polls conducted and systematic roll out of 100 buses with provision for 400 in next
four years for night services.
Technologically the
traffic management
is set to get light inter-connectivity, CCTV cameras at junctions, new design
guidelines, multi level parking and marketplace in hosting events. There will
be 1000 crores of funds coming from center in future for smart city enablement.
Smart city Public
Transport solutions from Ajeevi have been recently deployed and maintained. The
project embarks on an ambitious plan for organization and startup in 2012.
