Smart city for Jaipur

Jaipur City is a most famous city in Rajasthan state for its traditional culture. This city is now part of list of 100 Smart City under the Urban Ministry 100 Smart City Mission, which got launched on 21 June 2015. The Municipal Corporation of Jaipur has been urging to the citizens to participate in smart city mission. The progress in city services would be for following sectors:

Jaipur City is promising as a ‘Pollution Free Smart City’ with a population of 30, 73,350. The state issued notification for the creation of a special purpose vehicle (SPV) to execute the project. The given SPV can appraise, approve, release funds, manage, operate and evaluate the Smart City development projects. This smart city venture is not entirely a government venture, but would have a partial private stake in the holdings too. The SPV will be a public limited company incorporated under the Companies Act 2013 to implement the smart city project. Financial viability of Jaipur, is third, that is from value of land parcels available in the city. This is focused on benefits to the wider section of people instead of capital intensive projects, that was core strength of their proposal.

Smart city Public Transport solutions from Ajeevi have been recently deployed and maintained. The project embarks on an ambitious plan for organization and startup in 2012. Being the participant in category of technology providers to smart city campaign, Ajeevi hopes to be the market pioneer in technologies such as apps development, ERP and IOT.
